  15.      _c_v_s_p_e_e_d is the descriptive term for the WorkShop performance tools.  It
  16.      no longer exists as a program in the current release.

  18.      To record a performance experiment, invoke the WorkShop Debugger, _c_v_d, on
  19.      the executable to be measured, and use the ``Perf'' menu entry to select
  20.      the type of data to be recorded.
  21.  
  22.      To examine a previously recorded experiment, invoke the WorkShop
  23.      Performance Analyzer, _c_v_p_e_r_f, with the experiment directory as its
  24.      argument.  You may also use the system program _p_i_x_i_e to generate a pixie
  25.      counts file, and invoke _c_v_p_e_r_f on the counts file.  To do so, you will
  26.      need to install a patch with a later version of _p_i_x_i_e than is on the
  27.      current released system.  Contact Customer Support to obtain the patch.
